Explains the maximum age limits for Cedartree policies purchased directly or through comparison sites like MoneySuperMarket , including rules for child travelers.

Q: What are the age limits and eligibility restrictions for purchasing a policy?

The maximum age limit for a policy depends on the type of trip you are taking and whether you purchased your insurance directly from us or through a price comparison website.

Policies Purchased Directly with CedarTree

  • Single Trip: No upper age limit.

  • Annual Multi-Trip: Up to 75 years old.

  • Winter Sports Cover: Up to 64 years old.

Policies Purchased via Comparison Sites

If you purchased your policy through a price comparison website (such as Compare the Market, Go Compare, Confused.com, or MoneySuperMarket), lower age limits may apply to your cover.

Important Policies for Child Travelers

  • Under 18s Traveling Alone: For all policies, if a child under the age of 18 is traveling alone, the policy must be officially set up in the name of a parent or legal guardian as the main insured individual on the policy in addition to the child/children’s name.

Please note: All cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and any applicable excess.
