Q: What is the maximum number of days I can travel per trip on my policy?
A: The maximum duration allowed for any trip depends on your policy type, your cover level, and how you purchased your insurance.
1. Annual Multi-Trip (AMT) Policies
Your annual policy protects you for an unlimited number of trips over a 12-month period, provided that no single holiday exceeds the following day limits based on your direct cover tier:
Silver Level: Up to 32 days per trip.
Gold Level: Up to 45 days per trip.
Platinum Level: Up to 62 days per trip.
Note on Winter Sports: If you have added Winter Sports cover to your Annual policy, you are protected for a maximum total of 28 days of winter sports activities across the entire policy year.
2. Single Trip Policies
Purchased Directly: If you book your Single Trip policy directly with us, we can provide cover for a single holiday lasting anywhere from 3 to 94 days.
Winter Sports Limit: Single Trip policies with a Winter Sports add-on provide cover for the full duration of your specified trip.
3. Policies Purchased Via Comparison Sites
If you purchased your policy via a price comparison website (such as Compare the Market, Go Compare, Confused.com, or MoneySuperMarket), the maximum trip durations and rules will vary. Please check your specific policy wording and validation certificate for further details.
💡 Important Departure Tip
When setting up your policy, your trip departure date should always be the exact date you leave your house, rather than when you enter your departure airport or port. This ensures you are fully covered for missed departures due to traffic or transport delays on your way to the airport.
Please note: All cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and any applicable excess.
