If you are added to a waiting list for treatment or investigation after purchasing your policy, your cover will remain valid as long as your doctor approves travel and the changes occurred after your policy’s inception.
For Annual Multi-Trip (AMT) policies, if your health changes between the purchase date and the start date of your policy, your cover will still be honoured for the full year until the renewal date. Please be aware that If you book a new trip under your annual policy there is no cover where you are already aware of circumstances that could lead to a claim, for example if you’re added to a waiting list for treatment and then book a new trip, you’ll have no cover if you need to cancel or cut your trip short due to your treatment date conflicting with your trip dates.
